Miguel A. Núñez Jr. started his acting journey with various roles. One of his early important movie parts was Spider in The Return of the Living Dead. His first big starring role was as Marcus Taylor in the TV series Tour of Duty. He was a main actor for all three seasons of that show.
He later appeared in other TV shows like Sparks. He also starred in movies such as Juwanna Mann, where he played the main character. Núñez also had a recurring role as Zach in the second season of Joey, which was a spin-off from the popular show Friends. He also played the character Dee Jay in the movie Street Fighter.
