Michael Patrick Flynn, born on June 15, 1974, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is a former professional American football player. He played as a center in the National Football League (NFL). Flynn joined the NFL in 1997 with the Baltimore Ravens, even though he wasn't chosen in the draft. He played college football for the University of Maine.

Mike Flynn's Early Life
Flynn grew up in Agawam, Massachusetts. He went to Cathedral High School in Springfield, Massachusetts. During high school, he was a top athlete. He excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. Flynn finished high school in 1992.
Mike Flynn's NFL Career
Mike Flynn was not chosen by any team in the 1997 NFL Draft. However, the Baltimore Ravens signed him as a free agent. After a short time, the Ravens released him. Flynn then briefly joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Playing for the Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens signed Flynn again. He made his first NFL appearance in 1998. Two years later, in 2001, the Ravens won Super Bowl XXXV. Flynn was the starting right guard for that championship team. When the team's center, Jeff Mitchell, left, Flynn took over his position. He played as the center for the Ravens until 2007.
Time with the New England Patriots
In 2008, the New England Patriots signed Flynn. However, he was released by the team before the season began.
After Football: Mike Flynn's Media Career
After his football career, Mike Flynn started working in radio. He co-hosts a weekend radio show. The show is called "Johnston and Flynn" and airs on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston. During the football season, Flynn also joins "The Toucher and Rich Show" on Mondays. This show is also on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston.
