Mike Goldberg (born November 24, 1964) is an American play-by-play commentator. He is known for describing the action in sports events. He currently works with BYB Extreme Fighting Series and ProBox TV.
Mike Goldberg is most famous for his time with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He worked there from 1997 until 2016. After that, he also worked for Bellator MMA from 2017 to 2021.

Mike Goldberg's Career in Broadcasting
Mike Goldberg was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He later graduated from Miami University.
Early Sports Announcing
Before joining the UFC, Goldberg was a TV announcer for hockey. He called games for the Detroit Red Wings and the Minnesota Wild. He also worked for ESPN2 hockey, where he announced over 900 NHL games.
From 2000 to 2002, Goldberg was a sideline reporter for the NFL on FOX. This meant he reported from the side of the football field.
He also worked for SportsChannel Chicago. There, he was a sideline reporter for the Chicago Bulls. This included their championship wins in 1991, 1992, and 1993. He also announced college football and basketball games for different conferences.
Joining the UFC
On December 21, 1997, Mike Goldberg started his career with the UFC. His first event was UFC Japan: Ultimate Japan. This event took place in Yokohama, Japan.
In 2005, Goldberg was offered a job with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). They wanted him to be the main announcer for their show, WWE Raw. However, Goldberg decided to stay with the UFC instead. He signed a new contract with them.
Other TV Appearances
Goldberg also hosted a sports reality TV show. It was called Shaq Vs. and featured basketball star Shaquille O'Neal.
In 2014, Goldberg tried announcing an NFL football game. However, his broadcast had some mistakes. He was removed from the next week's game. This ended his NFL announcing career.
On December 28, 2016, the UFC announced that Goldberg would be leaving. His last event with them was UFC 207.
After the UFC
On June 24, 2017, Goldberg began working for Bellator MMA. His first event was Bellator 180 in Madison Square Garden. He worked with Bellator until April 2021.
Mike Goldberg is known for his famous phrase, "It is all over!" He often said this when a fight ended by knockout or submission.

Mike Goldberg is married to Kim Goldberg. They have a daughter named Kiarra Goldberg, who is an actress. They also have a son named Kole Goldberg.
