Milesburg is a small town, called a borough, in Centre County, Pennsylvania. It's part of the larger area around State College, Pennsylvania. In 2020, a count of all the people living there, called a census, showed that 1,093 people lived in Milesburg.

History of Milesburg
Milesburg and a nearby area called Miles Township are named after Samuel Miles. He was one of the owners of a big iron factory called Centre Furnace Iron Works. He owned it with Colonel John Patton and John Dunlop.
Milesburg is also located near where a Native American tribe, the Lenape people, once had a settlement. This place was known as Bald Eagle's Nest.
A special old building in Milesburg, the Iddings-Baldridge House, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. This means it's an important historical site.
