History of Miller City
Miller City was first known as St. Nicholas. It was officially planned out in 1882 by Nicholas Miller. The village was named after him. A post office opened in Miller City in 1883. Later, in 1890, Miller City became an official village.

Miller City is a small place. The United States Census Bureau says the village covers about 0.40 square miles (1.03 square kilometers). All of this area is land. There are no large bodies of water within the village limits.
