Milton "Milt" Brink (born November 26, 1910, died October 31, 1999) was an American ice hockey player. He was often called "Milt" or "Curly" by his friends and teammates. Milt played as a center, which is a very important position in ice hockey. He spent most of his professional hockey career in a league called the American Hockey Association (AHA). He also played a few games in the famous NHL with the Chicago Black Hawks.

Milt's Hockey Journey

Milt Brink started his professional ice hockey career in 1931. He played for several different teams during his time as a hockey player. His journey took him through various leagues before he reached the NHL.

Early Days in Hockey

Milt's first team was the Boston Cubs in the CAHL league during the 1931-32 season. After that, he played for the Eveleth Rangers in the CHL for a few seasons. While playing for the Eveleth Rangers, he showed his skill by scoring many goals and assists. For example, in the 1933-34 season, he scored 17 goals and had 17 assists, adding up to 34 points!

Playing in the AHA

Milt spent a lot of his career in the American Hockey Association (AHA). He played for teams like the Kansas City Greyhounds, Minneapolis Millers, St. Paul Saints, and Wichita Skyhawks. The AHA was a strong league where many talented players competed. Milt played a combined five seasons in this league, showing his dedication to the sport.

Brief Time in the NHL

In the 1936-37 season, Milt Brink got the chance to play in the NHL. He played 5 games for the Chicago Black Hawks. Playing in the NHL is a dream for many hockey players, and Milt achieved that goal. Even though it was a short time, it was a big part of his career.

End of His Career

Milt continued to play in the AHA after his time in the NHL. He played until the 1938-39 season, finishing his career with the Wichita Skyhawks. Milt Brink was a dedicated player who loved the game of ice hockey. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 88.
