Mimi Roshan Saeed (born August 5, 1998), known as Mimi Keene, is an actress from England. She is famous for playing Cindy Williams in the BBC show EastEnders (from 2013 to 2016). She also played Ruby Matthews in the Netflix comedy-drama series ... Education (from 2019 to 2023). In 2023, she appeared as Nathalie in the film After Everything.

Early Life and Training
Mimi Keene was born Mimi Roshan Saeed in the Redbridge area of London on August 5, 1998. Her mother, Alexis Keene, is English, and her father, Hassan Saeed, is British Pakistani. Mimi grew up in South Woodford and went to Churchfields Junior School.
Later, her family moved to Hertfordshire. She attended Divine Saviour Roman Catholic School in Abbots Langley. Mimi then trained to be an actress at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Barnsbury. She studied there from 2009 to 2014.
Acting Career Highlights
Mimi Keene started her acting journey as a child on stage. Her first professional role was playing Janey in a play called Kin. This play was shown at The Royal Court Theatre in London in late 2010.
In 2013, Mimi appeared in two TV shows. She played Brandy May Lou in CBBC's Sadie J. She also appeared as Jade Dawes in Our Girl. From 2013 to 2015, Mimi was a regular cast member in the popular show EastEnders. She played the character Cindy Williams. For this role, she was nominated for awards like the British Soap Award.
Mimi also used her voice for video games. In 2013, she voiced characters like Euryale and Medusa in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate. She returned to voice these characters in the sequel, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, in 2014.
In 2016, Mimi appeared in an episode of the TV series Casualty. She played a character named Lana Westmore. The next year, in 2017, she was in a short film called The Escape, playing Megan.
A big part of her career began in 2019. She played a younger version of Edith Tolkien in the film Tolkien. Also in 2019, she started playing Ruby Matthews in the Netflix series ... Education. This role made her very well-known. She also appeared in the film Close in 2019.
