Where Does the Minago River Flow?
The Minago River begins its journey at Moon Lake. This lake is located northeast of another lake called South Moose Lake. From Moon Lake, there was once a special path called a portage. This portage allowed people to carry their canoes and gear to South Moose Lake. From there, they could reach the Saskatchewan River.
The Minago River flows generally towards the northeast. It travels through the beautiful northern landscape of Manitoba. Its waters eventually join Cross Lake. Cross Lake is an important part of the Nelson River system.
