Miriam Díaz Aroca was born in Madrid on March 4, 1962. She grew up in Santander, a city in Cantabria. She studied Journalism at the Complutense University. Miriam started her career in radio, working as a host and technician for Radio Minuto Fórmula.
Early TV Appearances
Miriam first appeared on TV in 1979. She was a contestant on the music show Aplauso, in a section called La juventud baila. She finished in third place.
Her professional TV career began in 1987. She joined Javier Basilio on the Televisión Española contest El bote de Don Basilio. This show was part of Jesús Hermida's program Por la mañana.
Hosting Children's Shows
From 1988 to 1991, Miriam hosted a children's TV show. It was called Cajón desastre.
Later, from 1991 to 1993, she co-hosted a popular game show. This was Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez with Jordi Estadella.
