Mirjam Jaeger (born November 9, 1982) is a former freestyle skier from Switzerland. She is famous for her skills in the halfpipe event. After retiring from skiing, she began a new career as a model and sports broadcaster.

A Passion for Snow Sports
Mirjam Jaeger was born in Zurich, Switzerland, a country known for its beautiful Alps. She learned to ski when she was very young. Even though she was a good skier, she discovered snowboarding as a kid and it quickly became her new favorite sport.
When she was 16, Mirjam started competing in regional halfpipe snowboarding contests. She found sponsors to help pay for her competitions. While she was still in school, she managed to practice both skiing and snowboarding. However, in 2004, she decided to focus all her energy on freeskiing.
Career as a Pro Skier
In 2004, Mirjam competed in her first skiing Halfpipe World Cup in France, where she finished in an impressive 6th place. She became one of the top athletes in the sport.
Major Competitions and Medals
Mirjam had a very successful career and won several important medals.
- World Cups: She won three World Cup medals, including two silver medals in 2006 and 2008, and a bronze medal in 2013.
- Winter X Games: In 2008, she won a silver medal at the Winter X Games XII in Aspen, Colorado. This is a major event for extreme sports.
- Winter Dew Tour: She also earned a silver medal at the Winter Dew Tour in 2011.
The Olympic Games
Half-pipe skiing became an Olympic sport for the first time at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Mirjam competed for Switzerland and made it to the final round. She finished in eighth place, which was a great achievement.
World Championships

She was also one of two main people in a documentary called “Running in North Korea,” which was filmed in 2019.
Personal Life
Mirjam Jaeger has two children. She was once engaged to their father, Rafael Beutl, but they announced their separation in 2022.
