Miss Jane Marple is a much-loved British fictional character. She was created by the famous writer Agatha Christie. Miss Marple appears in twelve of Christie's mystery novels and twenty short stories.
She is an older lady who lives in a quiet village called St. Mary Mead. Even though she's not a professional, she's a very clever amateur detective. She loves solving tricky crimes! Miss Marple is one of the most famous characters in crime fiction and murder mystery stories. Many movies and television series have been made about her exciting investigations.
