Mission Control V2 is an exciting educational game. It's a platform game where you solve puzzles. Sherston Software made and published it. This game was designed for kids in primary schools. It came out on November 30, 1999. You could play it on Microsoft Windows and classic Mac OS computers.
Saving Planet Oglo
The game takes place on a planet called Oglo. Just like the first game, The Crystal Rainforest, you need to protect Oglo. The planet's last rainforest is in danger. A bad scientist named Gomez is making harmful chemicals. His robots are helping him. Your mission is to save the planet. You must protect the local tribes from the rainforest being destroyed.
How to Play the Game
You play the game from a first-person view. This means you see the game through the eyes of your character. You will explore thick rainforests. You need to use different controls and machines to solve puzzles. The game has nine fun activities. Each activity has a narrator who tells you what to do.
These activities include:
- Lifting the Heavy Box: You use a special lifting machine. Your goal is to load boxes into a 'hoverheli'.
- South Temple Maze: You control a machine called Rover. You need to program Rover to find its way through a tricky maze. A control panel helps you give commands to Rover.
- The Chemical Store: Make sure poison trucks move safely. You must get them to the recycling tank. This stops them from polluting the river.
- Switch the Robots Off: You program a set of colored lights. This helps you turn off the dangerous robots.
- Building the Bridge: You control Gomez's machine. You need to build a bridge to an island. You must use logic to drop stones one by one onto the supports.
You will use your brain to solve these challenges. You will learn about machines and programming as you play!
