Modolo (also called Mòdolo in the local Sardinian language) is a small town, known as a comune or municipality, in Italy. It is located on the beautiful island of Sardinia, which is part of Italy. Modolo is found in the Province of Oristano.
This charming town is about 130 kilometers (around 80 miles) northwest of Cagliari, a larger city. It is also about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of Oristano. As of December 31, 2004, Modolo had a population of 196 people. The town covers a small area of about 2.5 square kilometers (1 square mile).
