The Monarch Beverage Company Inc is a big international company that makes and sells drinks. It is based in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. The company's CEO (that's the chief executive officer, or boss) is Jacques Bombal.
Frank Armstrong started Monarch Beverage Company in 1965. The company wanted to sell soft drinks that were popular in certain areas but not known everywhere. In 1986, Monarch bought the famous Dad's Root Beer brand. At that time, Dad's Root Beer was one of the most popular root beer brands. It was even sold by the same companies that bottled Coca-Cola. Later, in 2007, another company bought Dad's Root Beer and other brands like Bubble Up and Sun Crest from Monarch.
Today, Monarch Beverages focuses mostly on selling its drinks in other countries. About 90% of its business is outside the U.S. Some of its well-known international brands include Kickapoo Joy Juice, and its rights to Bubble Up and Sun Crest outside the U.S.
