The Monchhichis is an exciting American animated series. It is based on the popular stuffed toy dolls created by the Japanese company Sekiguchi Corporation. This fun show was made by Hanna-Barbera, a famous animation studio.
The series first aired on ABC on September 10, 1983. It was part of a bigger show called The Monchhichis/Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show. The Monchhichis shared their time slot with other cartoons like The Little Rascals and Richie Rich.
Later, the show got its own half-hour slot. This allowed more time for the Monchhichis' adventures. The episodes were also shown again on the USA Cartoon Express in the late 1980s.

The Story of Monchia
The Monchhichis are cute, monkey-like creatures. They live in a magical forest land called Monchia. Their home is high up in tall trees, even above the clouds!
The leader of their tribe is a wise and magical wizard named Wizzar. Wizzar uses his spells and potions to protect Monchia. Their main enemies are Horrg and his group of evil Grumplins from a place called Grumplor. The Monchhichis often have to work together to stop the Grumplins' tricky plans.
