How to Play the Game
In Monster Rancher 4, your main goal is to raise, breed, and fight with cool monsters. Just like in other Monster Rancher games, you'll spend time caring for your creatures. You can also make them stronger for battles.
Getting New Monsters
One of the coolest parts of the game is how you get new monsters. You use a special "Saucer Stone" system. To do this, you visit a Shrine in the game. There, you can take out the Monster Rancher 4 game disc. Then, you put in almost any other CD, DVD, or even another PlayStation 2 game disc! The game reads data from that disc. This data then creates a brand new monster just for you. Each disc can create a different type of monster.
Raising and Training Your Monsters
Once you have a monster, you can bring it to your ranch. On your ranch, you'll help your monster grow and get stronger. You can train them in different ways to improve their skills. This training helps them become better fighters. You can have several monsters on your ranch at once. The number of monsters you can keep depends on how big your ranch is. You can have up to five monsters at a time.
Monster Battles
After training, your monsters are ready to compete! You can enter them into exciting battles against other monsters. Winning battles helps your monsters gain experience. It also helps you earn rewards in the game.
