Early Life and Music Beginnings
Tony Bradford was born in Chicago, Illinois. He has two brothers and three sisters. He started rapping when he was 15 years old. He enjoyed listening to famous artists like Tupac, DMX, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z.
In 2008, Montana of 300 and his high school friend, Montelle Talley, who is known as "Talley of 300," formed a rap group called "300." They chose this name because they were inspired by the movie 300. In the movie, a small group of 300 Spartans fought against many more soldiers. Montana was especially inspired by the movie's message of "No Surrender, No Retreat, Only the hard, only the strong, Against all odds."
