Moqut Ruffins (born April 6, 1984 – died August 16, 2022) was an American football player. He was known for playing as an offensive lineman. Moqut played college football at Louisiana Tech University. He also played for many professional teams. These included the Jacksonville Sharks and Albany Empire.

Early Life and High School Football
Moqut Ruffins was born in Monterey, California. He played high school football at Middletown High School South. This school is located in Middletown Township, New Jersey. He helped his team win two big championships. These were the Central Jersey Group 3 titles in 2000 and 2001.
College Football Career
Ruffins played for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. He was part of their team from 2002 to 2005. During his college career, he made 79 tackles. He also had nine tackles for a loss and three sacks.
Awards and Achievements
In his final year, 2005, he earned a special honor. He was named First Team All-WAC. That season, he recorded 38 tackles. He also had seven tackles for a loss and three sacks. He even forced two fumbles.
In October 2005, he was named WAC Defensive Player of the Week. This happened after a game where he sacked quarterback Colt Brennan twice. He also recovered a fumble in a big 46–14 win. This game was against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
