History of Morocco
The town of Morocco was first planned out in 1851. It got its name from the country of Morocco. This happened because a traveler had bright red boots that reminded people of the country.
A post office has been open in Morocco since 1859. This means people have been sending and receiving mail there for a very long time.
Two important buildings in Morocco are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means they are special places that are protected because of their history. These are the Scott-Lucas House and the Seller's Standard Station and Pullman Diner.
