Moschops is a fun British stop-motion animated TV show for children. It was made by FilmFair and first shown on ITV in 1983. The show tells stories about prehistoric animals living together.
The characters in Moschops were created by Sue Marke. Almost all the characters are prehistoric animals, like dinosaurs. The only exception is Flower, who is the very first flower in the world!

Meet the Characters
The names of the characters often tell you what kind of animal they are.
- Moschops is the main character. He is a young Moschops, a type of ancient reptile.
- Ally is Moschops's friend. Ally is an Allosaurus, a large meat-eating dinosaur.
- Grandfather Diplodocus is a wise, long-necked Diplodocus.
- Mrs. Kerry is a Triceratops, known for her three horns.
- Uncle Rex is a Tyrannosaurus rex, a famous and powerful dinosaur.
- Mr. Ichthyosaurus is an Ichthyosaurus, a reptile that lived in the sea.
In the show, Moschops and Ally are best friends. They live in a cave with Grandfather Diplodocus and Uncle Rex.

The original Moschops series was shown in the UK in 1983.
A Dutch version of the show was broadcast from 1984 to 1985. It was called Knobbel. Later, in 1988, Channel 4 also showed Moschops again in the UK.

After the TV show aired, Moschops also appeared in print!
- For a short time, the comic book Pippin featured a Moschops comic strip.
