Moshi Moshi Records is a music company, also known as a record label, based in London, England. It was started in 1998 by three friends: Adrian Pike, Michael McClatchey, and Stephen Bass. This label has helped many talented bands and artists share their music with the world. Some famous names they've worked with include Lykke Li, Bloc Party, Hot Chip, Kate Nash, and Florence and the Machine.
After a couple of years, Adrian Pike left. Michael McClatchey and Stephen Bass continued to run the company. Today, Moshi Moshi also helps manage artists like Metronomy and Teleman. They also work with other music companies to publish songs.
Moshi Moshi also has a special "Singles Club." This club has released early songs by artists like Florence And The Machine, Lykke Li, and Friendly Fires.
The name "Moshi Moshi" comes from the Japanese language. It's a friendly way to say "hello" when you answer the phone in Japan!
