Explore and Conquer: How to Play
The biggest changes in Warband were adding multiplayer mode. A new sixth faction, the Sarranid Sultanate, was also added. The game map was changed too. Players gained new political options. This lets a player who is not with a faction capture a town or castle. Then they can start their very own faction. Players can travel across the map. They will fight battles along the way. The main goal is for one faction to control the entire map.
Battle Friends: Multiplayer Mode
The multiplayer mode is different from the single-player game. It removes the role-playing parts. It also removes the big map. Instead, it focuses on direct fights with other players. Each player starts with a basic character. Players can then buy weapons, horses, and armor. You earn gold to buy these items by playing the game. Your multiplayer character is separate from your single-player character. There were eight different multiplayer modes to choose from.
