Mount Brew is a tall mountain in British Columbia, Canada. It stands about 2,891 meters (9,485 feet) high. This makes it one of the highest peaks in the area.
The mountain is found about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) south of a town called Lillooet. It is also about 44 kilometers (27 miles) north of Skihist Mountain. Mount Brew is on the west side of the Fraser River. This river is one of the longest in British Columbia.

Mount Brew is part of the Lillooet Ranges. These are a group of mountains in southwestern British Columbia. It is the third-highest mountain in this range. Only Skihist Mountain and Petlushkwohap Mountain are taller. Petlushkwohap Mountain is located in the Cantilever Range. This range is west of Lytton.
How Mount Brew Got Its Name
Mount Brew was named in 1859. A person named Lieutenant Mayne gave it this name. He named it after Chartres Brew. Chartres Brew was an important person in the early days of British Columbia. He worked as a police officer and a judge. He served in the Colony of British Columbia. This was before British Columbia became part of Canada.
