History of Mount Eaton
Mount Eaton was officially planned and laid out in 1814. This means its streets and lots were mapped out for people to build homes and businesses.
Near Mount Eaton, you can find the historic James Akey Farm. It is also known as the "Stark Wilderness Center Pioneer Farm." This farm is so important that it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This list includes places that are special because of their history or architecture.
