Mountain Pine is a small city in Garland County, Arkansas. It is part of the Hot Springs area. In 2020, about 585 people lived there.
The city is located right next to Lake Ouachita. It is also near the Blakely Mountain Dam. Mountain Pine has five main areas. These include Pinewood, South Mountain Pine, and Cozy Acres. There is also a business district and the Mountain View/Timberland area.
Mountain Pine started as a "company town" in the late 1920s. A company called Dierks Lumber and Coal Company built it. They had a very large lumber mill in the town. The mill closed in 2006.
