Mud Bay is a small community in Haines Borough, Alaska, United States. Its name in the Tlingit language is Ḵutlkw G̱eeyí. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government counts for population, but it is not a formally organized town.

In 2010, 212 people lived in Mud Bay. This number was higher than in 2000, when 137 people lived there. By 2020, the population had changed to 159 people.
