Muhsin Al-Ramli (born March 7, 1967) is a famous writer from Iraq. He has lived in Madrid, Spain since 1995.
He is also a translator, meaning he changes books from one language to another. He has translated many important Spanish books into Arabic. For example, he translated the whole book Don Quixote from Spanish to Arabic. He teaches at Saint Louis University in Madrid. He also helps run a magazine called Alwah, which is about Arabic writing and ideas. He helped start this magazine.

About His Early Life and Studies
In 2003, Muhsin Al-Ramli earned a special degree called a Doctorate from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He studied Philosophy and the Spanish language. His main project for this degree was about how Islamic culture influenced the famous book Don Quixote. His brother, Hassan Mutlak, is also a writer and poet.

His Work as a Translator
Muhsin Al-Ramli is well-known for translating books. He helps people read stories and ideas from other languages. His most famous translation is the full book Don Quixote from Spanish into Arabic. This was a big project because Don Quixote is a very long and important book.
He also translated a piece called Laranjas e giletes em Bagdá/Naranjas y cuchillas en Bagdad by Fedra Rodríguez Hinojosa. This translation was published in a literary magazine in 2010.
