Mukhtar Abdullahi Ali, born on October 30, 1997, is a professional footballer. He is from Saudi Arabia. Mukhtar plays as a midfielder for the Saudi Arabia national team. He also plays for the club Al-Nassr.

Mukhtar Ali's Football Journey
Playing for Chelsea
Mukhtar Ali started his football journey early. In 2008, when he was about 11 years old, he joined the famous club Chelsea. Before that, he played for Leyton Orient. He grew up playing through Chelsea's youth teams.
Mukhtar was a key player in the Chelsea youth squad. This team won the FA Youth Cup two years in a row, in 2015 and 2016. He played in 42 games for the academy. This made him one of the players with the most appearances. He was also nominated for the International Somali Sportsman of the Year award.
Moving to Vitesse
On January 29, 2017, Mukhtar Ali moved to Vitesse in the Netherlands. He joined them on a loan deal for the rest of the 2016–17 season. He made his first game for Vitesse on February 19, 2017. This was in a match against Ajax. He came into the game in the 84th minute.
He also played for Jong Vitesse, which is Vitesse's reserve team. After his loan, Vitesse decided to sign him permanently. On July 17, 2017, Mukhtar Ali officially joined Vitesse with a three-year contract.
Joining Al-Nassr
On August 31, 2019, Mukhtar Ali returned to Saudi Arabia. He signed a one-year deal with Al-Nassr. This was a big move for his career.
Later, on January 29, 2022, he signed a new contract with Al-Nassr until 2025. He was then loaned out to Al-Tai. He rejoined Al-Tai on another one-year loan on August 29, 2022. On September 7, 2023, Mukhtar Ali went on another one-year loan, this time to Al-Fateh.
International Football Career
Mukhtar Ali played for England's youth teams. He represented England U16 and England U17. He could also have played for Somalia, which is where his parents are from.
However, Mukhtar chose to play for the Saudi Arabia national team. He made his first senior game for Saudi Arabia on October 7, 2017. This match was against Jamaica. He chose Saudi Arabia because he stated he was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

- FA Youth Cup: He won this cup three times in a row: 2013–14, 2014–15, and 2015–16.
