What Are Munchies?
Munchies are small, bite-sized candies. Each one has a smooth milk chocolate coating. Inside, you'll find a soft, gooey caramel. There's also a crunchy biscuit piece. This mix of textures makes them a popular snack.
Different Kinds of Munchies
Over the years, Nestlé has made many exciting new Munchies flavors.
Mint Munchies and After Eight Bitesize
In 1995, a sweet called "Mintola" got a new name. It was very similar to Munchies but had plain chocolate and a mint fondant center. It was renamed "Mint Munchies." Then, in 2006, "Mint Munchies" changed names again. They became "After Eight Bitesize."
New Flavors and Limited Editions
In September 2019, Nestlé launched two new Munchies flavors. These were Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookie Dough. In 2021, they also released a Salted Caramel Fudge flavor.
In August 2020, a special white chocolate version of Munchies came out. This was a limited-edition treat. In March 2023, Nestlé released "Munchies Gold." These were made with Caramac chocolate as part of their "Golden Collection" of chocolates.
