In 2010, about 2,728 people lived here. Munsons Corners is part of the town of Cortlandville. It is located near the southwest edge of the city of Cortland.

Munsons Corners is found in the western part of Cortlandville. Its exact location is 42°34′53″N 76°12′29″W / 42.58139°N 76.20806°W. The city of Cortland is to its northeast. To the northwest is another area called "Cortland West".

Local Roads and Routes
Two important roads meet in the western part of Munsons Corners. These are New York State Route 13 and New York State Route 281. Route 13 goes northeast into Cortland. It also goes southwest about 21 miles to Ithaca. Route 281 heads north about 5 miles to the village of Homer.
