Murad Arif, whose full name is Murad Arif oghlu Shukur, was born on September 27, 1981. He is a famous singer, composer, and producer from Azerbaijan. People in Azerbaijan often call him a "Hitmaker" because he creates many popular songs. Murad Arif also hosts a YouTube show called "Popumuz Var!" and has been a coach on the international TV show "The Voice".

Murad Arif was born in Sumgait, a city in Azerbaijan. His father is from Fuzuli, and his mother is from Shusha. He has two sisters, and one of them, Konul Arifgizi, is also a TV presenter.
Murad went to school in Sumgait. He studied International Economic Relations at university. He is a father to two children: a son born in 2014 and a daughter born in 2015.
Murad's TV Career
Murad Arif started his career in 2002 at Radio Space 104 FM. He also worked as a DJ for other radio stations like Lider Jazz FM and Public radio.
His first TV show was "Qaraj" on ITV in 2006, which he hosted with Husniya Maharramova. In 2007, Murad won a popular Azerbaijani competition called "Mashin show". He hosted several other TV shows, including "Yeni Sahar" and "Solo" on Lider TV, and "Gun kechir" on ATV.
Murad was also a commentator for big events. He commentated on the opening ceremony of the World Football Championship in 2010. He also commentated for Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, 2019, 2021, and 2022. In 2014, he was a judge on "Böyük səhnə," a music competition. He supported Dilara Kazimova, who won that year. Today, he is known for his unique YouTube show "Popumuz Var!".

For a long time, Murad Arif worked as a music producer for many singers. He helped artists like Ayaz Gasimov, Khayyam Nisanov, and Elton Huseynaliyev.
In 2008, he released the song "Almalarinla" with Ayaz Gasimov. In 2009, a song he wrote called "Sevdiyini söylə" won a competition organized by the Ministry of Culture. This song was performed by Intizar and Natavan Habibi. In 2011, another song he wrote, "Təyyarələr," was sung by Natavan Habibi at a music festival in Turkey.
