Murray is a small village located in Cass County, Nebraska, in the United States. In 2020, about 480 people called Murray home. It's a quiet place with a friendly community.

History

Before it was called Murray, this village had another name: "Fairview." Murray officially started in 1891. That's when the Missouri Pacific Railroad built its tracks to this spot. The village was planned out and marked on a map, which is called being "plat"ted. It was named after Reverend George Murray, who was one of the first people to settle in the area.
