Musei is a small town, also called a comune (municipality), located on the beautiful island of Sardinia in Italy. It's part of the Province of South Sardinia. Musei is about 40 kilometers (25 miles) west of a bigger city called Cagliari. It's also about 20 kilometers (12 miles) northeast of Carbonia.
In December 2004, about 1,493 people lived in Musei. The town covers an area of about 20.3 square kilometers (7.8 square miles). Musei shares its borders with other towns. These towns include Domusnovas, Iglesias, Siliqua, and Villamassargia.
