Mustafa Saed's Wrestling Journey
Early Career Beginnings (1990–1991)
Mustafa Saed learned to wrestle from Gene Anderson. He started his wrestling career in 1990. His first match was on a show called WCW Worldwide. He also wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation.
Time in World Championship Wrestling (1992–1993)
Mustafa Saed joined World Championship Wrestling in 1992. He often wrestled on shows like WCW Saturday Night. He faced many famous wrestlers during this time. Mustafa Saed left WCW in May 1993.
Smoky Mountain Wrestling Adventures (1994–1995)
In 1994, Mustafa Saed teamed up with New Jack and, for a short time, D'Lo Brown. They were known as The Gangstas. They became very well-known in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. The Gangstas often used unique ways to win matches.
The Gangstas had a big rivalry with The Rock 'n' Roll Express. They wanted to win the SMW Tag Team Championship. They finally won the titles on October 3. However, they lost them back to The Rock 'n' Roll Express two months later. After that, The Gangstas wrestled against teams like Tony Anthony and Tracy Smothers. In 1995, The Gangstas, now just Mustafa Saed and New Jack, left SMW.
Extreme Championship Wrestling Era (1995–1997, 1999)
The Gangstas, Mustafa Saed and New Jack, joined Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in June 1995. They quickly became popular with fans. They were known for bringing different items to the ring during their matches.
The Gangstas had a long rivalry with the Public Enemy. This lasted until early 1996. Later, they challenged the Eliminators for the ECW World Tag Team Championship. They won the titles on August 3 at an event called The Doctor Is In. They lost the titles in December but won them again on July 19, 1997. After losing the championship for the second time, Mustafa Saed and New Jack went their separate ways. Mustafa Saed then left ECW.
Mustafa Saed came back to ECW in February 1999. He reunited with New Jack to wrestle the Dudley Boys. But Mustafa Saed surprised everyone by attacking New Jack. He revealed he was trying to get New Jack out of ECW. He was then known as Mr. Mustafa. New Jack defeated him at an event called Living Dangerously 1999. Mustafa Saed left ECW again by May.
Independent Wrestling Circuit (1997–Present)
Mustafa Saed wrestled for the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico from 1999 to 2001. He won several championships there. He won the WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship once. He also won the WWC World Television Championship once. He won the WWC World Tag Team Championship once with Rastaman. In 2000, Mustafa Saed went to Japan to wrestle for Big Japan Pro Wrestling.
On August 8, 2010, Mustafa Saed and New Jack teamed up again for one night. This was at a Total Nonstop Action Wrestling event called Hardcore Justice. They appeared after a match. Mustafa Saed has also wrestled regularly for Supreme Pro Wrestling in California.
