Cool Facts About the Show

My Life as a Popat almost didn't get a second series. This was because the TV channel, CITV, had some money issues.

However, the show won a BAFTA award! This big win helped them get the money needed for a second series.

The character of Holly Saviour, played by Laura Greenwood, left the show in the second series. She made one last appearance in the first episode. A new character, Lucy Miesels, played by Yasmin Paige, was then introduced.

Sadly, due to more money cuts at CITV, the show did not get a third series.
