For many years, Nabb had its own post office. The first one opened in 1878 and closed in 1881. Later, a second post office served the community from 1914 until 1970. Post offices were very important for sending letters and packages in the past.
The 2012 Tornado
On March 2, 2012, a powerful tornado hit Nabb. This tornado was very strong. It was rated as an EF4 tornado. It started in a nearby place called Marysville, which is about five miles away. The tornado then moved towards another community named Chelsea.
