Where Was Nadeau?
Nadeau was situated in the scenic Tehachapi Mountains. These mountains are known for their beautiful views and are part of California's landscape.
The settlement was about 5 miles (8 kilometers) east of another place called Cameron. It was also located about 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) west of the town of Tehachapi, California. Being near the railroad made it a useful stop for people and supplies.
