History of Narcao
Narcao has a long history. In a part of Narcao called Terraseo, you can find old ruins. These are the remains of a temple from ancient times.
Ancient Temple Remains
The temple found in Terraseo was built by the Punics and later used by the Romans. It was dedicated to a goddess named Demetra. Demetra was an important goddess in ancient Greek and Roman religions. She was known as the goddess of harvest and agriculture.
Twin Towns
Narcao has special friendships with other towns around the world. These are called "twin towns" or "sister cities." It means they share cultural ties and often visit each other.
