Nashotah is a small village located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,321 people lived there. The village gets its name from the beautiful Nashotah Lakes nearby.

Learning in Nashotah
Nashotah is home to Nashotah House, which is a special school called a seminary. It trains people to become leaders in The Episcopal Church. A private school called Lake Country Christian Academy used to be in Nashotah, but it is now closed.

Nashotah is found in the "Lake Country" part of Waukesha County. It is located at 43°5′41″N 88°24′2″W / 43.09472°N 88.40056°W.
The village covers a total area of about 1.70 square miles (4.40 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, about 1.67 square miles (4.33 square kilometers). A small part, about 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometers), is water.

In 2010, there were 1,395 people living in Nashotah. There were 517 households, and 400 of these were families. The village had about 835 people per square mile (322 people per square kilometer).
Most people in Nashotah were White (96.6%). A small number were Asian (1.4%), Native American (0.5%), or African American (0.1%). About 1.4% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

Local Attractions
Nashotah is home to a very old restaurant called The Red Circle Inn. It was started in 1848 on the Watertown Plank Road. In the past, it was a place where stagecoaches and early settlers could stop and rest. Later, in 1889, the Pabst Brewing family bought the inn. It became a popular spot for wealthy people who spent their summers in mansions around the nearby lakes.
