Nashville is a town in Nash County, North Carolina, United States. It is the main town, or county seat, of Nash County. The town was started in 1780. It is known for its beautiful old homes built in the Victorian and Queen Anne styles.
In 2020, about 5,632 people lived in Nashville. It is part of the larger Rocky Mount, North Carolina area.

History of Nashville
The town of Nashville was founded in 1780. It was named after Francis Nash. He was an important officer in the North Carolina army during the American Revolutionary War. Sadly, Francis Nash died during this war.

Arts and Local Culture
Nashville hosts a fun event called the Nashville Blooming Festival. It started in 1997. This festival has food, music, and a parade. There are also many vendors and a carnival for everyone to enjoy.
Several historic buildings in Nashville are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Bissette-Cooley House, the Nash County Courthouse, and Rose Hill. The entire Nashville Historic District is also recognized for its historical importance.
