Nasif Moisés Estéfano (born November 18, 1932 – died October 21, 1973) was a talented racing driver from Argentina. His family had roots from Lebanon. He loved speed and competed in many car races during his life.

Nasif Estéfano was born in Concepción, a city in the Tucumán area of Argentina. From a young age, he was interested in cars and racing. He worked hard to become a professional driver.
Formula One Adventures
Nasif Estéfano got the chance to compete in two big World Championship Formula One races. These are some of the fastest and most exciting car races in the world!
First Grand Prix Race
His first Formula One race was on February 7, 1960. It was the 1960 Argentine Grand Prix, held in his home country. He drove a Maserati 250F car. He finished this race in 14th place. Even though he didn't score any championship points, it was a big step for him to race at this level.
Later Formula One Attempts
In 1962, Nasif Estéfano tried to race in another Formula One event. This was the 1962 Italian Grand Prix. He was driving for the De Tomaso team. However, he did not qualify for the main race. This means he wasn't fast enough during practice to get a spot on the starting grid.
Beyond Formula One
Even though his Formula One career was short, Nasif Estéfano was a well-known driver in Argentina. He competed in other types of racing, like Turismo Carretera, which is a very popular touring car series in Argentina. He also raced in the World Sportscar Championship.
