Nassif Zeytoun (Arabic: ناصيف زيتون) is a popular singer from Syria. He was born on September 25, 1988. Nassif became famous in 2010 when he won the TV show Star Academy.

He is well-known for his song "Mesh Aam Tezbat Maae," which came out in 2014. Many of his music videos on YouTube have been watched millions of times. His album Toul Al Yom was released in July 2016. It quickly became very popular across the Arab world. One song from that album, "Bi Rabbek," was even number one on the music app Anghami.

In 2016, Nassif Zeytoun joined Stars On Board. This was a TV cruise with many famous people from the Arab world. He has also performed many concerts in Syria and Lebanon. Nassif loves his home country very much. He showed this love in his song "Haweety," which is a tribute to Syria.

Early Life and Education

Nassif Zeytoun grew up in Jdeidat Artouz, a town in Syria. His family was a Christian family originally from Khabab. Before becoming a singer, he studied how to translate languages.

Later, he went to the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus. He studied oriental singing there and graduated. After finishing his studies, he worked at the Damascus Opera House. He also sang as a chorister with the famous musician Marcel Khalife.

Music Career Highlights

In 2010, Nassif Zeytoun made history. He was the first Syrian person to reach the final and win Star Academy Arab World. He won with a large number of votes from viewers.

Nassif also took part in a special event called Tomorrow/Bokra. This was a charity project created by Quincy Jones. The singer Shakira helped promote it. Nassif joined 23 other major Arab artists for this project.
