Natalia Guitler was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her parents moved to Brazil from Argentina in 1980. She is the youngest of four children and has three older brothers.

Growing up, Natalia had easy access to football and tennis courts. Her family, especially her brothers and father, encouraged her to play sports from a young age. She started playing football and tennis as a child and showed a lot of natural talent.

When she was 10, Natalia also started playing Footvolley. At first, it was just a fun hobby. Because her family was from Argentina, she spent some of her teenage years training there. This is where she worked on becoming a professional tennis player.

Tennis Journey

Natalia started playing tennis when she was only four years old. This sport led her to live in Argentina for five years. On July 6, 2009, she reached her highest tennis ranking, becoming number 454 in singles. Her best doubles ranking was 461 in November 2009.

Natalia won one singles title and four doubles titles in professional tennis tournaments. She also won titles when she was a junior player. However, it was hard to find enough competitions in Brazil, and traveling for sports was very expensive.

At age 21, Natalia decided to stop playing professional tennis. This was due to money problems, stress, and travel difficulties. She moved back to Brazil to be with her family. During this time, she tried out other sports like football, handball, surfing, and snooker. This showed how much she loved all kinds of sports. Later, she studied Administration and Sports Marketing to prepare for a career outside of playing sports.

Natalia played her first Teqball game at Ronaldinho's house. The president of the French Teqball Federation saw her play and invited her to the World Championships in France.

Even though she had not practiced much and did not know all the rules, Natalia competed. She teamed up with Marcos Vieira. They finished fourth in the mixed doubles category, competing against teams from 50 countries.

In 2019, Natalia and Marcos Vieira won the Teqball world championship in Budapest, Hungary. This made Natalia the first woman to win this title! Her success came from working with Master Coach Zé André. He helped her improve her focus and handle pressure better.

In June 2021, Natalia and Marcos Vieira became the top-ranked mixed doubles team in Teqball. This happened after they won the Brazilian national competition. Natalia hopes that Teqball will be included in the Olympics one day. She has also talked about how she inspires more women to play these sports.

Footvolley Success

In 2010, while still in Argentina, one of Natalia's brothers showed her Footvolley. She immediately loved the sport. She used the skills she learned from tennis and football to become very good.

In 2018, Natalia began competing in Footvolley world championships. She won her first title with her partner, Vanessa Tabarez. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Natalia changed her training. Her personal trainer, Ricardo Lapa, helped her focus on exercises she could do at home. This helped her stay fit when she could not train on the beach. Both Footvolley and Teqball became more popular during this time. This was because they could be played outdoors with only a few people.

Natalia became famous in Brazil and around the world. She showed her amazing skills in Footvolley and futmesa matches.
