Early Life and Family
Natasha Fisher was born to Anita and Roma Fisher. Her parents are senior pastors at Faith City Church in Thunder Bay. Natasha first started singing at this church when she was a child.
She began taking vocal lessons when she was 14 years old. The Fisher family belongs to the Long Lake 58 First Nation. This is an Ojibwe First Nation community in Northern Ontario.
Natasha sometimes performs with her sister, Hannah Fisher. They sing together as the Fisher Sisters. Natasha's cousin, Classic Roots, is also a musician. He creates electronic music and pow wow techno.
Music Career
After living in Thunder Bay until she was 18, Natasha moved to Toronto. She wanted to grow her music career in the bigger city. She describes her music as Aboriginal-influenced electronic pop and R&B.
Natasha has explored different music styles, including hip hop and R&B. She shares that her Ojibwe heritage is a big inspiration for her songs.

In 2017, Natasha released her first original song called Lie To Me. This song was part of her first album, Her. The music video for Lie To Me was filmed by Spun Creative. It features beautiful shots from Mount McKay and the areas around it.
The album Her tells the story of a young woman. It describes her journey of moving from her familiar hometown to a big city. She leaves behind everything she knows. Some songs on the album also talk about a relationship breakup.

In October 2019, Natasha released her first single from her album Millennial. On December 13, 2019, the full album Millennial was released. The Ontario Arts Council supported this project.
