Thomas M. Baldwin House

The Thomas M. Baldwin House is located at 126 W. 1st Street in Prineville. It was added to the National Register on September 10, 1987.

Thomas M. Baldwin was a very important banker in Central Oregon during the early 1900s. He lived in this beautiful house, built in 1907, during the most successful part of his career. The house is designed in the Colonial Revival style. It was created by a famous architectural firm led by John V. Bennes. Many people consider it the best example of this style in Prineville.

Crook County Bank Building

You can find the Crook County Bank Building at 246 N. Main Street in Prineville. It joined the National Register on June 19, 1991.

This building is another important piece of Prineville's history. It served as a bank, showing how the town grew and developed over the years.

Marion Reed Elliott House

The Marion Reed Elliott House is located at 305 W. 1st Street in Prineville. It was listed on the National Register on February 21, 1989.

Built in 1908, this house is the biggest and best-kept example of the Queen Anne style in Prineville. It's also special because it was built by a well-known local contractor named Jack Shipp. He built many structures in the area, and this is one of the few that still stands today.

Old First National Bank of Prineville and Foster and Hyde Store

These two historic buildings are found at 243 and 247 N. Main Street in Prineville. They were added to the National Register on December 2, 1985.

The First National Bank of Prineville was the very first bank in Central Oregon, started in 1887. Its second building, built in 1905, shows off the bank's success and the prosperity of Prineville and Crook County. The building has a grand American Renaissance style. It was one of the first of three important buildings in central Prineville that used local basalt rock from the same quarry, giving the area a unique look.

Lamonta Compound – Prineville Supervisor's Warehouse

The Lamonta Compound – Prineville Supervisor's Warehouse is located at 1175 NW Lamonta Road in Prineville. It was listed on the National Register on April 8, 1986.

This group of buildings was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) between 1933 and 1934. The CCC was a program during the Great Depression that put young men to work on conservation projects. This complex is a great example of the projects the CCC did for the Forest Service. It shows how the Forest Service started to plan their sites more carefully and how their approach to managing national forests changed over time.

The Roba Ranch

The Roba Ranch is located at 66953 Roba Ranch Road, near Paulina. It was added to the National Register on November 7, 2007.

This historic ranch is a significant part of Crook County's past, representing the area's agricultural heritage.
