Nedeljko Čubrilović (Serbian Cyrillic: Недељко Чубриловић) was born on April 5, 1953. He is a politician from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a Bosnian Serb. He held a very important job as the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. This means he was like the leader of the parliament in Republika Srpska. He was the 6th person to hold this position. He served as Speaker from 2014 until 2022.
His Political Journey
Nedeljko Čubrilović started his political career by joining the Democratic People's Alliance (DNS) party in the year 2000. He became a vice president in this party.
Later, in November 2018, the leaders of the DNS party decided to remove him from his vice president role. Soon after, in December 2018, he became the first president of a brand new political party. This new party is called the DEMOS. He was elected as its leader in Banja Luka.
