Ken Samaras (born on April 3, 1990), known by his stage name Nekfeu, is a French rapper, actor, and record producer.
He is also a part of the music group L'entourage and the bands $-Crew and 1995. Nekfeu began his music journey with $-Crew, alongside his childhood friends Framal, Mekra, 2zer Washington, and DJ Elite. He joined the group 1995 in 2007, where he took part in rap battles called open mic duels around Paris.
His first solo album, Feu, was released in 2015 and became very popular. For this album, he won an award called the Victoire de l'album de musiques urbaines in 2016. His second album, Cyborg, came out in 2016, and his third, Les Étoiles vagabondes, was released in 2019.
Throughout his career, Nekfeu has sold over 2 million albums. He has also earned two "diamond discs" and one "double diamond disc," which are awards for selling a huge number of albums.

Nekfeu's Early Life and Career Beginnings
Ken Samaras was born in La Trinité, a town near Nice, France. His father is of Greek descent, and his mother is of Scottish descent. When he was 11 years old, Nekfeu and his family moved to the 15th area of Paris.
Before his solo career, Nekfeu released two shorter music collections called extended plays with the group 1995: La Source in 2011 and La Suite in 2012. They also released a full studio album called Paris Sud Minute in 2013.
Nekfeu's first solo album, Feu, was released on June 8, 2015. This album was a big success, and he won the Best Urban Music Album award at the Victoires de la musique in February 2016. In June 2016, he also released the album Destins Liés with his group $-Crew. That same year, he wrote and performed a song for the French version of the movie Creed. Later in 2016, he released his second solo album, Cyborg.
In 2017, Nekfeu started acting in movies. His first film was Tout nous sépare, where he starred alongside the famous actress Catherine Deneuve.
In 2019, he released his third album, Les étoiles vagabondes. This album was special because it was first shown as a movie in cinemas. The movie came out two hours before the album was available to stream online. The album was very popular and included a song called "Tricheur" with the Belgian rapper Damso. Many other songs from the album also made it into the top 20 on the French music charts.

Nekfeu is a big fan of football. He supports two teams: Paris Saint-Germain, which is based in the city where he grew up, and his hometown club OGC Nice.
