Fred Pyatt (born September 9, 1953) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a center. Fred was born in Port Arthur, Ontario.
He was chosen in the 1973 draft by two different leagues. The Detroit Red Wings picked him for the NHL. The Minnesota Fighting Saints picked him for the World Hockey Association. During his career, Pyatt also played for the Washington Capitals and Colorado Rockies.
Fred Pyatt is also known as the father of three sons. Two of his sons, Tom and Taylor Pyatt, also became professional hockey players in the NHL.
