Neunkirchen is a town in Saarland, a state in Germany. It is the main town of the Neunkirchen District. About 46,000 people lived there in 2016.

Neunkirchen is located about 252 meters above sea level, near the Blies river. It is about 20 kilometers northeast of Saarbrücken. Neunkirchen is the second-largest town in Saarland, after Saarbrücken.
