Neupré is a small town, or municipality, located in Wallonia, which is a region in Belgium. It is part of the province of Liège.
On January 1, 2006, about 9,798 people lived in Neupré. The total area of the municipality is 31.69 square kilometers. This means that about 309 people live in each square kilometer. This number is called the population density.

Neupré is made up of four smaller areas, often called districts. These districts are Éhein, Neuville-en-Condroz, Plainevaux, and Rotheux-Rimière.
How Neupré Got Its Name
The name Neupré was actually created by combining parts of the names of its districts. It comes from:

- Plainevaux
- Rotheux-Rimière
- Éhein
Local Government
Neupré has a local government that helps run the town. The mayor is Virginie Defrang-Firket. She is part of a political group called the Mouvement Réformateur (MR). The local government is formed by a majority of members from the MR and the Parti Socialiste (PS) parties.
Important Historical Site
On the southeast side of Neupré, you can find the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial. This is a special place where more than 5,000 American soldiers are buried. These soldiers bravely fought and died in Northern Europe during World War II. It is a place to remember their sacrifice.
